Welcome to my site!

I am an English professor, writing editor, and advocate for inclusive practices who encourages scholars to view writing as a tool to understand the possibilities of language. I am interested in helping scholars heighten their historical, political, and racial consciousness.

My current projects consider ways to promote critically conscious pedagogy in writing classrooms. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being with family, roller skating, and attending live concerts.
